PHILIP HEARSEY Born 1946, lives and works in Herefordshire, England

Since completing his formal training at the Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts, Philip Hearsey devotes his time to making sculptures intended for interior spaces, both private and public. With a background in architecture, interior design and furniture design, Hearsay specializes in sand casting to make sculptures that emphasize the quality of bronze as a noble material in its own right. Thanks to the flexibility of sand-casting methods, it’s possible for Hearsay to assimilate highly complex shapes into the mold, reaching absolute levels of accuracy. His organic and geometric sculptures are inspired by natural forms and the landscape of his native Herefordshire, on the edge of England, where it blends with the Welsh countryside. The works are very pleasing to the eye and exude calmness and ease in their environment.

PhIlip Hearsay has exhibited widely in solo exhibitions, mixed and open exhibitions, solo showcases and art fairs. His work is held in many corporate and private collections across the world.
